First visit, arrival times and clinic policies?
The clinic is located at 1 rue des Vollandes. It is recommended to arrive 5 minutes before your appointment time to allow yourself time to relax, feel free to use the facilities and then make yourself comfortable in the lounge area where your therapist is going to meet you. Please understand that if you are late we will be unable to extend your treatment time as there are other clients after you.

Rescheduling and cancellation policy

We understand that situations arise in which you must cancel or reschedule your appointment. It is therefore requested that you provide us with 24 Hours notice. This will enable for another client who is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled in that appointment slot. With cancellations made less than 24 hours notice, we are unable to offer that time slot to other clients. Appointments which are cancelled with less than 24 Hour notification will be subject to the full fee.
We understand that special unavoidable circumstances may cause you to cancel within 24 hours. Fees in this instance may be waived on presentation of a medical certificate.

What can I expect from my appointment?
A completely professional treatment by a highly trained therapist with over 5 years experience. After meeting your therapist in the reception area you will follow through to the treatment room where you are going to discuss your client intake form that you filled online, this is the time to explain any health issues, recent injuries and ask any questions about the treatment. You will then be left on your own for privacy to get undressed and lye on the table, the therapist will knock before re-entering the room and make sure you are comfortable. Through the treatment you will be asked feedback on pressure, room temperature etc so please let us know if you need any changes. After the treatment once again the therapist will leave for you to get dressed. The final part of the treatment is the prescription of exercises to follow up your appointment and discussing a treatment plan including your follow up visit and your treatment goals.

How much do I need to take off?
Keep undies on, bra can stay and be unclipped when we are massaging the back. The oil used is completely water dispersable so you don't have to worry about it not washing off, and the therapist will have you draped correctly at all times exposing only the area being worked on.

How often should I have a massage?
It depends on how you are feeling and what is going on in your life. First of all if we are treating you for a chronic issue it usually takes 4-5 treatments to make a substantial difference, usually these issues have not happened overnight and therefore some work is required in to releasing deeper layers, doing corrective stretches and so on, but don't worry you will start to feel better already after the first session and together we will establish a plan of action. For acute issues 2-4 treatments close up perhaps in the space of 2 weeks and then a long term program. Most people will have regular treatment weekly, fortnightly or monthly, most benefits will be observed in regular massages not more then 3 weeks apart. Recent studies have proved the preventive massage is also more cost effective as it reduces acute injuries that require many treatments to recover and it also allow for a better pain free lifestyle.

Payment?
Card, cash or Revolut transfer are accepted.

Bookings how and when?
Your initial treatment can be booked either by email phone by text message or online, after which you will be emailed a client intake form. It is important to fill this out before your appointment to let your therapist know of your health history and treatments goals, it also maximizes your treatment time, allowing more time for hands on therapy. After your treatment is the best time to re-book as you will be able to choose your preferred times rather than risking in missing out when calling at the last minute. It is also an active way to start to look after your health.
